Kirienko pointed out the demand for the winners of the contest "Leaders of Russia. Politics"

The winners and finalists of the "Leaders of Russia. Politics" are in demand in the authorities. This was announced on November 27 by First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation Sergey Kiriyenko at a briefing during the launch of the second season of the competition.

"The contest "Leaders of Russia. Politics" was held once in 2020-2021 ahead of the State Duma elections <...>. The winners and finalists of the contest "Leaders of Russia. Politics" turned out to be very much in demand not only in the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, not only in the executive branch, but also in the most diverse spheres and industries, "- said the politician.

It is expected that following the results of the in-person stage, 200 of 600 participants will be selected, and they will be sent for training lasting one year. Only half of them will become winners, i.e. 100 people.

The contest "Leaders of Russia. Politics" is implemented on the instructions of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin in order to identify promising socio-political leaders with the necessary knowledge, skills and motivation for socio-political work, for their further training, development in the environment of like-minded people and immersion in the modern political environment.

Earlier, in February this year, the Leaders of Russia competition presented a list of winners, which included 102 people. These are 83 men and 19 girls, hailing from 31 regions of Russia. Also among them are two managers from Belgium and Serbia. Kirienko said that 160,000 managers applied for the contest, and the competition for the winner's place amounted to 500 people.
