The load capacity of the Indigirka River crossing from Khonuu village to Buor-Sysy village has been increased to 10 tons. Vehicles weighing up to 5 tons can cross the Olenek River from Olenek village to Kharyyalakh village. A total of ten crossings have been opened in the republic: in Momsk, Zhigansk, Amga, Olenek, Suntar, Verkhnekolymsk, Khangalassky districts and Yakutsk. The fine for going out on the ice in an improper place for individuals is from 3 thousand to 5 thousand rubles, for officials - up to 50 thousand rubles, for legal entities - up to 1 million rubles.
In Khabarovsk Krai, a 21-year-old man drove a snowmobile on the ice of the Siy channel. The vehicle fell through the ice, as a result of which the driver drowned.
