Demin added that the car service may offer to change the nipples. According to him, road reagents and temperature fluctuations can really negatively affect them. Rubber becomes rough and cracked, and then begins to leak air, but every year it makes no sense to change the nipples unnecessarily, as it is a replacement of a serviceable unit for a new one.

According to the auto expert, when replacing tires, the client may be offered to inflate them with nitrogen.

There is no deception in this, but there is no sense in it either, as nitrogen is less susceptible to expansion and contraction, but for a civilian car it will be absolutely imperceptible.

The specialist emphasized that if the oxidized bolts could not be unscrewed with a wrench and welding is in progress, then it is really additional work, and there is no need to argue with the masters.

"But if in order to remove the wheel, had to take a wrench instead of a pneumatic wrench, no extra payment is required: you can not know the state of the compressor in the service, perhaps it is he does not develop sufficient pressure," he said.
