Almost 460 billion rubles will be allocated in Russia for the national project "Tourism and Hospitality" until 2030. This was reported by Deputy Minister of Economic Development Dmitry Vakhrukov at a round table in the Federation Council on November 27.

"The President (Russian Federation Vladimir Putin. - Ed.) instructed to provide at least 403 billion rubles to finance the national project. Today the resource until 2030 has been determined - it is almost 460 billion rubles. That is, within the framework of our work during this year we were able to reach such funds with the Ministry of Finance and colleagues," he said.

In addition, according to Vakhrukov, more than 200 billion will be allocated for this project in the next three years.

Earlier, on March 28, the Russian president promised to create tourist infrastructure in all national parks of the country by 2030.

Before that, on March 6, the Russian leader called to make more affordable recreation in the south of Russia. He pointed out that the Azov and Black Seas are traditional vacation destinations for Russians, and tourism is one of the key industries of this region. It is necessary to make it possible for more Russian citizens to travel around the country, the president emphasized.

The national project "Tourism and Hospitality" has been implemented since 2021. It was extended until 2030 by Putin's decision.
