Putin said about the dynamic development of relations between Russia and Kazakhstan


Russia remains one of the largest trade and economic partners of Astana. This was stated by Russian leader Vladimir Putin during his visit to Kazakhstan on November 27.
"We are both friends and maintain business relations. And everything is developing really the most dynamic, the best way, we are in constant contact," - said the President.
According to the Russian leader, a whole package of documents has been prepared for the current negotiations, including a joint statement, a number of agreements in various areas. In addition, he added that Russia is one of the largest trade and economic partners of Kazakhstan. Putin pointed out that last year there was almost $28.5 billion of trade turnover, which continues to grow, and added that from investments in the Kazakh economy goes $13 billion.
The Russian president also noted that the Russian side values the development of humanitarian ties on civil society, education and science. In addition, he said, the majority of foreign students who study in Russia are representatives of Kazakhstan. Putin also pointed to the interregional development between the states.
The Russian leader thanked his Kazakh counterpart Kasym-Jomart Tokayev for his constant attention to the development of ties between the two countries, adding that the Russian Federation views Kazakhstan as a reliable friend and ally.
Earlier in the day, during his visit to Kazakhstan, Putin together with Tokayev helped artist Asel Sabyrzhankyzy to paint a picture depicting the bridge of friendship between Russia and Kazakhstan.
The same day it became known that Putin arrived in Kazakhstan with a two-day visit, Tokayev met him at the airport. At the meeting, the presidents discussed the development of bilateral relations, and the Kazakh leader noted that Astana was and remains a reliable strategic partner and ally of Moscow.
In Kazakhstan, the Russian president will attend a session of the Collective Security Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO). About 20 documents and joint statements on deepening the strategic partnership of the two countries are expected to be signed following the visit.
