Video of the rescue of tourists and the captain from the sunken ship "Boyets" near the village of Teriberka in the Barents Sea appeared in the possession of "Izvestia" on Wednesday, November 27.

The footage shows that the board lies perpendicularly in the water, people are on the side of the ship. From the water, specialists evacuated people with the help of a life preserver.

The Boets vessel sank in the Barents Sea on the same day 500 meters east of the Sifudrus berth in the Murmansk region. The cause of the incident, according to the Izvestiya source, could have been a high wave.

A criminal case has been opened over the incident. The prosecutor's office is checking compliance with the rules of safe operation of water transport, establishing the circumstances and causes of the incident.
