Russia is open for international cooperation in the field of science. This statement was made by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin on November 27.
"We are still open for international cooperation," he said at the ceremony of awarding Russian government prizes in the field of science and technology.
He noted that on the instructions of Russian President Vladimir Putin, the megagrant program has been updated, funding and deadlines for creating innovations have been raised. According to him, young scientists can participate in this program, who can receive 15 million rubles annually for their projects for two years.
In addition, Mishustin emphasized that throughout Russia, laboratories are opened on the basis of universities, financial support in the form of grants, prizes and scholarships. He noted the presidential scholarship of 75,000 rubles monthly, which is paid to graduate students and adjuncts working on research in priority areas of scientific and technological development of the country.
On June 13, during his visit to the NICA gas pedal complex, which is being built at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR) in Dubna, Putin reminded that Russia is open to scientific cooperation with other countries and is ready for the achievements of Russian scientists to be used abroad. The Russian leader is confident that international cooperation in science will be restored in the future.
