A man stabbed to death his five-month-old puppy in Khimki near Moscow. About it on Wednesday, November 27, reported in the press service of the Main Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Moscow region.

"The police preliminarily established that the attacker, being in a forest belt near the village of Brekhovo, inflicted on a puppy aged approximately 5 months, numerous blows with a knife, from which the animal died in a veterinary clinic", - said the head of the UIOS of the GU of the Ministry of internal Affairs of Russia in the MO Tatiana Petrova.

The identity of the owner of the dog is established. A criminal case under part 1 of article 245 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Cruel treatment of animals") has been instituted.

Earlier, on October 31, it was reported that in Sayansk, Irkutsk region, police officers are conducting a check on the fact of a report about the murder of a dog. Later, police officers identified witnesses who saw the body of the dog, also interviewed the janitor, who found the dead animal and threw it in the trash container.
