Russian President Vladimir Putin has congratulated People's Artist of the RSFSR, theater and film actress Galina Polskikh on her 85th birthday. The Russian leader's address was published on the Kremlin website on November 27.
"Generous, original talent and amazing charm helped you earn high professional recognition and love of the audience," the publication says.
Putin emphasized that talent, among other things, helped the artist in creating a collection of bright and memorable works. He noted that each of the films is the result of "genuine acting skill" and constant creative search Polskikh.
Galina Polskikh has more than 170 roles in films. Her debut is the film "Wild Dog Dingo" in 1962. In addition, she took part in such films as "I walk on Moscow", "Dr. Zhivago", "Horses on the crossing do not change" and others.
