Three people died in Arkhangelsk when a car fell into the Northern Dvina River. This was reported on Wednesday, November 27, by the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia (ICRF) for the region and the Nenets Autonomous District (NAO) in the Telegram channel.

According to investigators, the incident occurred on the night of November 24.

"The car "Renault Logan" under the control of a 30-year-old resident of the regional center at high speed, bypassing the fence prohibiting the passage of vehicles on the Krasnoflotsky bridge, which was divorced for testing ships, fell into the Northern Dvina River", - stated in the message of the department.

It is specified that the body of 20-year-old local resident of Katunino settlement in Primorsky district of Arkhangelsk region was found, the girl was identified by relatives. Later, on November 27, a fallen car rose to the surface of the river, in which the bodies of a 20-year-old local resident and the driver of the car were found.

On the fact of the incident, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation is conducting an investigation, in the course of which the circumstances of the accident, causes of death will be established and a procedural decision will be made.

On the same day, the press service of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the region reported that in Arzgirsky district of Stavropol Krai three people died as a result of a collision of two cars, two more people were injured. At about 11:30, the car VAZ-2110, moving from the direction of the village of Arzgir, collided with Hyundai, which was traveling in the opposite direction.

It is reported that the driver and a passenger of the domestic car, as well as a passenger of the Hyundai car were killed. The injured were taken to hospital.
