Krasnov instructed to carry out large-scale inspections of the housing and utilities sector in the Chelyabinsk region

Prosecutor General of Russia Igor Krasnov held a personal reception of residents of the Chelyabinsk region, who needed help in solving various problems. This was reported in the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation on November 27.

"Igor Krasnov received about 30 applicants. Igor Krasnov's personal participation was required in solving problems related to the provision of support measures for participants of the special military operation and their families, in connection with the improper condition of highways, violations of housing rights of orphans," - stated in the message of the Prosecutor General's office on its website.

In addition, the applicants asked for help in the field of the rights of large families, provision of travel documents for the disabled, the right to affordable medical care, legislation on enforcement proceedings and waste management.

A number of other appeals of Chelyabinsk residents concerned violations of the law in the housing and communal sphere, for example, in the issues of resettlement of emergency housing, gasification and the state of social infrastructure.

"The problems of housing and communal services here are simply immense and no one is doing anything. I instruct the regional prosecutor to conduct large-scale inspections in the housing and utilities sector, to look at all authorized bodies, management companies: where they spend money and on what, to give a legal assessment in case of fraud detection," Krasnov said.

Earlier in the day, the Prosecutor General arrived in the Chelyabinsk region with a working visit. The trip began with the laying of a wreath at the memorial complex "Eternal Flame". In addition to receiving citizens Krasnov will meet with employees of the regional prosecutor's office.
