The Russian goalkeeper of the French soccer club PSG Matvey Safonov's save in the match against Bayern Munich, thanks to which he managed to repel a dangerous shot by Jamal Musiala, was highly appreciated by the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA). Safonov made a total of six saves during the game in the Champions League (CL) 5th round general stage match against Bayern Munich, but missed a shot in the 38th minute. The final score of the match was 0:1.
Portal SofaScore at the end of the match awarded the Russian goalkeeper a score of 7.1, putting him in fourth place among the players of PSG, adds "Sport-Express". According to Flashscore Safonov is the best player of his team in the meeting with Bayern with a score of 7.5.
