Road workers have eliminated about 10 thousand potholes on the roads near Moscow since November

In the Moscow region road services have repaired about 8.9 thousand pavement defects since the beginning of November. These are the data of the regional Ministry of Transport and Road Infrastructure.

It is specified that specialists of "Mosavtodor" eliminated about 4 thousand holes on regional highways. The remaining defects were repaired on municipal roads.

Internet edition "Podmoskovye Segodnya" with reference to the department writes that such works are carried out every day throughout the year. On average, road services manage to eliminate about 2 thousand defects in the pavement per week.

In mid-October, Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin and the head of the Ministry of Transport Roman Starovoit during the exhibition "Road 2024" by video link opened road facilities in Moscow and Sverdlovsk regions, as well as in the DNR and LNR. In particular, two sections were put into operation on the M-5 "Ural" highway in the Moscow region. These are the bypass of the Oktyabrsky settlement near the Zhukovsky airport and the Ulyanino - Nepetsino section, which bypasses five settlements on the way to Kolomna. According to the plan, these objects will relieve traffic and reduce the environmental load on regional centers.
