Murmansk authorities allocated 7 million rubles for "birth bags"

The authorities of the Murmansk Region have allocated 6.9 million rubles for the formation of "Maternity Bag" kits. The funds came from the reserve fund of the regional government.

A new type of social support will start to operate in the region from January 1, 2025. "Maternity bags" will be issued free of charge to pregnant women who are in state regional maternity hospitals. Underage women in labor can also count on receiving a set, notes IA "Bi-Port".

The government noted that the kits are formed taking into account the opinion of young moms. They are coordinated with the professional medical community. Care products are hypoallergenic, products meet modern requirements.

Earlier it was reported that the "Maternity Bag" includes 18 items, including a toothbrush, socks, hair bands, a package of diapers, a package of diapers and baby soap.
