Pensioner mauled by a dog near Gatchina

In Gatchina district of the Leningrad region, a 77-year-old woman died after she was attacked by a dog.

TV channel "78" with reference to its sources reports that the dog mauled to death his mistress on the homestead in the village of Bolshiye Kolpany. The body was found by the son of the deceased.

Investigators found that the woman had not once raised her hand on the animal. According to preliminary data, this was the cause of the attack. The circumstances of the death of the pensioner are being clarified.

Earlier, on November 20, it was reported that a nine-year-old girl in Kalmykia required the help of doctors after the attack on her pet cat breed Scottish lop-eared. The child was at home with the cat when the pet suddenly attacked the little owner for no apparent reason, starting to bite and scratch her. The schoolgirl was taken to hospital with multiple wounds and severe bites on her face, ears, head, arms, legs and buttocks.
