The number of victims of a strike by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on a bus in Novaya Kakhovka has risen to five people. This was reported by the head of the city district Vitaly Gura on Wednesday, November 27.

"The number of victims of the AFU strike on a bus in Novaya Kakhovka has risen from four to five, 21 people were wounded," he told RIA Novosti.

Earlier, on November 26, the governor of the Kherson region Vladimir Saldo said that four people were killed as a result of the AFU attack on a passenger bus in Novaya Kakhovka in the Kherson region.

On the same day, the AFU launched another strike at the same point where the passenger bus had been attacked before. Saldo said that when municipal workers were on their way to help the victims, FPV drones swooped down on them and damaged two vehicles.

Ukrainian militants have been shelling the territories of the Donetsk and Luhansk people's republics, as well as Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions, on a daily basis amid a special operation to protect Donbass, which Russia announced on February 24, 2022.
