On December 4, the IV scientific and educational medical forum "MEDICINE YOUNG" will be held

As part of the traditional Russian Healthcare Week, the IV Scientific and Educational Medical Forum "MEDICINE YOUNG" will be held at Expocentre Fairgrounds.

MEDICINE YOUNG" forum annually gathers young medical scientists, leading world-class specialists, industry leaders and representatives of medical authorities. This year the event will be held for the fourth time. Awarding of the best projects of young teams that took part in the competition "All-Russian Scientific School "MEDICINE YOUNG" will also take place.

According to the initiator of the project, President of the Filatov Foundation, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, member of the expert council on health care at the Federation Council Committee on Social Policy Ekaterina Dibrova, for the four years that the forum "MEDICINE YOUNG" and the competition of the same name have been held, it has been possible to create a truly unique ecosystem aimed at identifying and supporting breakthrough developments from young medical scientists. For this purpose, the Filatov Foundation has launched a special program "Leaders of Innovations", within the framework of which, with the support of the Presidential Grants Fund, promising researchers and laureates of the competition are given the opportunity of personal communication with leading experts and organizers of national healthcare, with representatives of leading scientific schools. This year, for the first time, an interactive panel "INNOVATION LEADERS" will be presented, which will demonstrate the best projects of young scientists to the participants of the Russian Healthcare Week and, first of all, to industrial sites interested in advanced developments. On December 2, the program participants will also be able to ask questions and express their opinions at the highest level - at a round table in the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, just dedicated to improving support measures for young scientists.

The results of the competition for young scientists will be announced at the end of the forum. 412 applications were received in 2024. In total, for the entire period of the project within the framework of the competition "All-Russian Scientific School "MEDICINE YOUNG" received more than 1000 applications from 54 regions of Russia, including new territories (Lugansk, Donetsk) and international (Belarus, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan).
