Two people killed in AFU tactical missile strike in Kursk region

Two people were killed in a strike by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) with tactical missiles in Kursk Region. This was reported on November 27 in the Telegram-channel of military investigative bodies of the Investigative Committee of Russia (IC RF).

The incident occurred on November 23 in the locality of Bolshoye Zhirovo, Fatezhsky district. The Ukrainian army launched a missile strike with three tactical missiles with the help of remote firearms.

"As a result of the above criminal actions, two people died," - stated in the message of the Department.

On the fact of the incident a criminal case has been opened against the Ukrainian militants under part 3 of article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Terrorist act"). During the investigation will establish the persons involved in this crime.

Earlier, on November 22, a woman died as a result of a car bombing in Kursk region. A man, who was also in the car, was injured. He was taken to a medical facility for necessary assistance.

The AFU attacked Russian positions in the border areas of the Kursk region on August 6. The situation in the region was recognized as a state of emergency of federal character.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
