At least six people killed due to Israeli strikes on Syria

Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) strikes at checkpoints between Syria and Lebanon in the Syrian province of Homs killed at least six people, including two military personnel. The Syrian Arab News Agency SANA reported on Wednesday, November 27.
"The Israeli enemy launched an air aggression from Lebanese territory, striking the border crossings between Syria and Lebanon. The aggression killed six people, including two soldiers and the rest were civilians," the report said.
It is also noted that another six people were injured. Among the injured are volunteers of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent.
Earlier, on November 25, the IDF launched a series of strikes on several large bridges in Syria's Homs province, located on the border with Lebanon. The strikes targeted the Al-Jubaniya, Al-Daf, and Arjoun bridges in the Al-Quseir neighborhood of Homs province.
The day before, Israel recorded 30 rockets coming from Lebanon. This was reported on November 24 in the press service of the Israeli army (IDF). It is noted that the rockets were launched between 13:00 and 13:08 (from 14:00 to 14:08 Moscow time), after sirens sounded in the areas of the Upper Galilee, Western Galilee, Haifa Bay and Hakarmel.
The situation in the Middle East escalated on the morning of October 7, 2023, when the Palestinian radical movement Hamas subjected Israeli territory to a massive rocket attack from the Gaza Strip. On the same day, Israel began retaliatory strikes.
