Saldo reported power outages in the Kherson region

In Kherson region, 172 settlements were left without electricity due to an emergency shutdown of the Dzhankoy-Melitopol power transmission line. This was reported by the head of the region Vladimir Saldo on Wednesday, November 27.

"At 05:00 (6:00 Moscow time) there was an emergency shutdown on the power transmission line VL-330 kV Dzhankoy - Melitopol," - wrote the Governor in his Telegram-channel.

137.5 thousand people were left without light in six municipal districts. 40 objects were connected to backup power sources.

Within an hour, power supply under the reserve scheme was restored in Genichesk and Novotroitsk districts. However, 69 settlements of four districts still remain without light. Specialists of PJSC "Rosseti" are working on the elimination of problems.

Earlier in the day in Zaporizhzhya region began power outages due to damage to power lines. The governor of Zaporizhzhya region, Yevhen Balitsky, specified in his Telegram channel that socially important facilities were connected to backup power sources.
