Boris Epstein, an adviser to U.S. President-elect Donald Trump, has been suspended from a number of transition team meetings. The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) reported on November 26.

"Epstein was subsequently banned from attending some transition team meetings," the publication said.

According to the publication, the decision was made in connection with an investigation into Epstein by the Republican's team. The adviser is suspected of extorting money from candidates for a position in the Trump administration. Epstein, for his part, denies the allegations.

"These false claims are lies and slander, they will not distract us from making America great again," the WSJ quoted him as saying.

The newspaper suggested that the investigation could put the president-elect in a choice between old allies and new members of the team.

Earlier, on November 23, it became known that the employees of Trump's team because of contradictions resort to swearing and manhandling at work. So, recently there was an incident between the American billionaire Ilon Musk and Epstein because of legal issues.

Before that, on November 18, the publication Axios learned about the conflict between Musk and Epstein over candidates for the Trump administration. According to the portal, a "major scandal" between them arose when the entrepreneur accused his opponent of revealing to the media details about the transition of power to Trump, including appointments to positions. In turn, Epstein said he did not understand what Musk was talking about.

The election of the 47th president of the United States was held on November 5. In the national vote, Trump received 51% of the votes, and the candidate from the Democrats Kamala Harris - 47.4%. Later, the politician, speaking to supporters, called himself the 47th President of the United States and said that his goal as head of state considers the end of military conflicts in the world.
