A fishing vessel washed ashore in Primorsky Krai


The fishing vessel "Belokorets" was thrown ashore in the Gulf of Oprichnik in Primorsky Krai. This was reported on Wednesday, November 27, by the press service of the Far Eastern Transport Prosecutor's Office.
"On November 27, preliminary, due to adverse weather conditions in the bay Oprichnik (seaport of Nakhodka, Primorsky Krai) ran aground fishing vessel "Belokorets", which was on a long leave without a crew," the department said in its Telegram channel.
As a result of the incident, no one was injured. Work is being carried out to eliminate the consequences.
The Prosecutor's office is checking compliance with the rules of safety of operation of marine transport, including in the provision of standstill of the vessel.
Earlier, on October 18, it was reported that the cargo ship "Grigory Lovtsov", carrying crushed stone and sand, overturned off the coast of Korsakov district on Sakhalin. Seven crew members were on board, two of whom died and three were injured. The prosecutor's office organized an investigation into the accident.
