Rosgvardia special forces destroyed AFU fighters in Kursk region

Special Forces of the Russian Federal Guard destroyed personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Kursk region. This was reported in the press service of the agency on Wednesday, November 27.

The point of temporary dislocation of the enemy was found in the forest area of the region. An objective control was established over the area.

"Upon detection of an unidentified vehicle in the area of the alleged dislocation of AFU personnel, a decision was made to use a kamikaze drone", - stated in the message of the department in Telegram-channel.

It is noted that as a result five Ukrainian fighters and one piece of equipment were destroyed.

Earlier in the day, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that units of the Guards Airborne Assault Don Cossack Regiment from Feodosia of the Novorossiysk Guards Mountain Division of the Airborne Troops (VDV) hit an AFU infantry fighting vehicle (IFV) from the border areas of the Kursk region.

The Ukrainian military attacked Russian positions in the border areas of Kursk Region on August 6. The situation in the region was recognized as a state of emergency of federal character. The operation to destroy the militants continues.
