US entrepreneur Ilon Musk has called US President Joe Biden 's request of $24bn from Congress for military aid to Ukraine abnormal. The billionaire said this on Wednesday, November 27, on his page in the social network X (former Twitter).

"This is not normal," Musk stated.

Earlier, on November 26, the New York Post (NYP) reported that Biden asked Congress to allocate $24 billion to Ukraine to strengthen its military capabilities and replenish America's dwindling reserves.

Western countries have stepped up military and financial support for Ukraine amid Russia's special operation to protect Donbas, which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, after the situation in the region worsened due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
