Due to snowfall in Blagoveshchensk several flights were transferred to an alternate airfield

Planes from Novosibirsk, Yekaterinburg and Vladivostok left for an alternate airfield in Khabarovsk on Wednesday morning due to snowfall in Blagoveshchensk. This was reported in the Telegram-channel of the Ministry of Transport and Roads of the Amur region on Wednesday, November 27.

As of 9:00 local time (3:00 Moscow time) the following flights were sent to the alternate airfield: 5211 Novosibirsk - Blagoveshchensk, 299 Yekaterinburg - Blagoveshchensk, 2461 Vladivostok - Blagoveshchensk.

Flight 349 from Moscow successfully landed at Blagoveshchensk airport at 9:00 local time.

"All flights that left for Khabarovsk, as well as an international flight to Utapao, are delayed for departure from Blagoveshchensk," the agency warned.

Earlier, on November 15, many flights were canceled due to the eruption of the Levotobi Laki Laki volcano in Bali, leaving Russian tourists stranded at the airport without any assistance.
