From December 1 to February 28, about 80 branches of the "Winter Post" will operate in Moscow, where citizens and tourists will be able to send a free postcard to friends and relatives or a letter to Santa Claus. The action will be part of the project "Winter in Moscow". About it on Wednesday, November 27, told in his official blog the mayor of the capital Sergey Sobyanin.
"Winter Mail" offices will open on the sites of "Moscow Seasons" almost all over the city. Guests will be offered to choose a New Year's retro postcard with bears, snowmen and Christmas trees, sign it and immediately send it to friends or relatives", - stated in the message.
At the sites of "Moscow Seasons" guests will also be helped to make a beautiful photo, print it in the format of a postcard, and then sign and send it to your friends or even yourself as a memory of winter.
"Journey to Christmas" is one of the most popular festivals of the "Moscow Seasons" project. This year it will be held in the capital from December 14, 2024 to January 12, 2025.
Earlier, on November 20, Sobyanin spoke about the project "Winter in Moscow". According to him, like its predecessor - the festival "Summer in Moscow", it will come to every district of the city and offer the citizens a huge choice of activities in the fresh air and in the city's cultural and sports institutions.
