One of the U.S.'s most wanted criminals has been apprehended in the U.K.


In the UK, a man who had been on the FBI's most wanted list for more than 20 years was arrested. The Times newspaper wrote about it on November 26.
"Investigators say an American fugitive, one of the FBI's most wanted terrorists, who has been a fugitive from justice for two decades, has been arrested in North Wales," the publication reported.
Daniel Andreas San Diego, 46, was apprehended in rural North Wales. He was wanted for two terrorist attacks in California in 2003. He is also accused of having ties to a radical animal rights group. In 2009, San Diego was added to the FBI's Most Wanted Terrorist List.
A $250k reward has been announced for any information that could lead to the man's arrest.
At the moment, the criminal is before the court associated with the beginning of the process of his extradition to the United States.
Earlier, on November 26, it became known that the investigators of Tatarstan solved the case of the murder of the businessman, which occurred 25 years ago. After that, two residents of Kazan were officially charged with committing the crime.
Before that, on November 13, law enforcers in Crimea also solved the murder of a businessman committed in February 1999. According to the source of "Izvestia", the criminal case on the fact of the incident was initiated in 2014. In November 2024, the involvement of three citizens in the crime was established. Among them, two men and one woman. The men are currently serving life sentences for murder and robbery, while the woman, who served seven years in prison for drugs and theft, is listed as dead.
