Rehabilitation of the Semyonovsky pond is completed in the south-west of Moscow. This was reported on Tuesday, November 26, by Deputy Mayor of the capital on housing and public utilities and landscaping Pyotr Biryukov.
According to him, the pond, located in the Gagarinsky district, was in unsatisfactory condition: there were local destructions of the coastal strip, and at the bottom accumulated a layer of silt deposits, the water area was actively blooming due to a large amount of algae, notes the agency of city news "Moscow".
Specialists of the complex of urban economy cleaned the reservoir area of 0.2 hectares of silt, repaired the coastal strip, restored the work of engineering structures and formed zones bioplato total area of more than 160 square meters, specifies the site kp.ru. On November 22, in the west of Moscow, Mosfilmovsky pond was put in order. More than 20 thousand cubic meters of silt sediments were removed from the bottom of the pond, reports IA Regnum.
