US strikes arms depot of pro-Iranian group in Syria

TheU.S. struck a weapons depot of the pro-Iranian group in Syria. This was reported by the US Central Command (CENTCOM).
"Today, Nov. 26, CENTCOM forces struck a pro-Iranian weapons depot in Syria. The strike is in response to yesterday's attack by Iranian police on U.S. forces in Syria," the press office informed on the X network (former Twitter).
It is specified that the strike was carried out to undermine the ability to plan and execute future attacks on US and coalition forces.
"We will not tolerate any attacks on our personnel and coalition partners. We are committed to taking all necessary actions to ensure their protection," said Gen. Michael Eric Kurilla, CENTCOM commander.
The agency said damage assessments from the attack are underway. There are no civilian casualties, according to preliminary data.
Earlier on Nov. 12, the U.S. Armed Forces in Syria struck nine targets associated with Iranian groups. According to a military statement, the strikes were a direct response to recent attacks on U.S. military personnel in the region.
On this day, a US military base in Syria came under rocket fire. According to media reports, a total of five missiles were fired at the US base. They fell on the territory of the military facility. There is no information about the damage and casualties.
On October 27, Al Jadeed TV channel reported about the strikes of Iraqi UAVs on the US military base in Syria. Then the movement "Islamic Resistance of Iraq" claimed responsibility for the attack.
Attacks on U.S. bases in the Middle East have become more frequent amid the escalation of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, in which the U.S. supported Israel.
