- Putin pointed to the development of cooperation between Russia and Kazakhstan in all areas

Cooperation between Russia and Kazakhstan has a truly allied character and continues to actively develop in all areas. This was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on November 27.
"Our partnership is based on the traditions of friendship, good-neighborliness and mutual assistance and is built on the inviolable principles of equality and respect for each other's interests. The peoples of Russia and Kazakhstan are linked by close cultural, spiritual and moral values, centuries-old history of life in a single state, joint achievements and victories," he said on the Kremlin's official website.
In addition, Putin said that he and President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev are always focused on creating favorable conditions for cooperation between Moscow and Astana.
"The main thing is that President Tokayev and I are always focused on a concrete result and strive to do everything possible to provide the most favorable conditions for further confident development of Russian-Kazakh cooperation, for the prosperity of our countries, for improving the quality of life of citizens," he pointed out.
According to the President, the partnership between Russia and Kazakhstan is built on the principles of equality and respect for each other's interests.
"Once again I would like to emphasize that Russia is ready to further develop multifaceted friendly and allied relations with the Republic of Kazakhstan for the benefit of our peoples," he said.
Putin also said that Moscow is waiting for the Kazakh president to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the victory on May 9, 2025.
"We are waiting for President Tokayev and other Kazakh friends for the anniversary celebrations in Moscow on May 9. Both in Russia and Kazakhstan remember and sacredly honor the feat of fathers and grandfathers who fought shoulder to shoulder against Nazism. And we, of course, must do everything to ensure that future generations will remember the price at which we managed to defend peace and freedom," - said the President.
Earlier, November 26, it was reported that Putin during a visit to Kazakhstan will discuss with Tokayev strategic partnership of the two states. Following the talks, Putin and Tokayev will sign a joint statement of heads of state and several intergovernmental, interagency and commercial documents.
Earlier, on June 3, Putin and Tokayev met in Astana on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit. The Russian president noted that he is in constant contact with his Kazakh counterpart, and Russia is one of the republic's main trade and economic partners. Trade turnover between the countries has reached nearly $30 billion. During these talks Tokayev invited Putin to pay an official visit to Kazakhstan in November.
Prior to that, June 24, the presidents spoke by phone and expressed their willingness to expand Moscow and Astana's joint fight against terrorism and strengthen cooperation between the two countries in the energy sector.
