The Belarusian Defense Ministry called the Russian army the strongest in the world

November 26, Major General Pavel Muraveiko, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Belarus, in an interview with the Belarusian edition of "SB. Belarus Today" called the Russian army the most powerful in the world.

"Today we are actively cooperating with our strategic ally Russia. We have a joint regional grouping of troops, a single training school and a single armament. We read off the accumulated experience of fighting in modern military conflicts. The Russian army is a fighting army. I will say without shyness that it is the most powerful and the strongest army in the world, which there is hardly any force to oppose now," Muraveiko said.

According to him, there is now active cooperation between Russia and Belarus.

"And this [Russia] is our ally, these are our guys with whom we interact, share experience. We actually have unified documents, unified views and unified approaches," he said.

Muraveiko also noted cooperation with the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO). He spoke about the joint creation of collective defense systems.

"We have created an air defense system, a unified system of information exchange, plans are being developed for joint activities on training of forces and means, intelligence, logistics, RCD-defense," Muraveiko said.

The major-general also reported on cooperation with China and Middle Eastern countries. He noted that within the Armed Forces of the Union State member states, "the CSTO is a unified standard, unified approaches, thoughts and views, a unified system of training."

Earlier in the day in Belarus, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Belarus, Major General Muraveiko said about the readiness to respond to any external aggression. According to him, at the moment the power bloc of Belarus is united, as well as "represents the most powerful fist. He emphasized that everyone in the country is united and set up to ensure calm and security of citizens.

Earlier, November 22, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said that humanity is close to "plunge" into the third world war, but "is somehow slowing down". He noted that at the moment there is a full-scale and protracted information war.

Prior to that, September 17, Lukashenko said that an attack on Belarus would mean the beginning of the third world war. He also noted that the country had something to respond to external aggression and that its interests and values would be defended.
