Ukraine has registered a draft resolution on the resignation of the defense minister

People's Deputy Oleksiy Honcharenko (listed as a terrorist and extremist in the Russian Federation) on November 26 submitted to the Verkhovna Rada a draft resolution on the resignation of Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov.

"Umerov must resign. Registered the resolution on the dismissal of the Minister of defense of Ukraine," - wrote the MP in Telegram-channel.

He noted that after the dismissal of the head of the Ukrainian defense Ministry should be criminal cases and "desirable specific sentences".

Before that, on September 20, it was reported that Umerov and the head of the country's Main Intelligence Directorate (GID) Kirill Budanov (included in the Russian Federation in the list of terrorists and extremists) may be sent to resign. The Ukrainian daily Strana.ua said at the time that Umerov had recently been increasingly criticized by the media and activists close to Western structures.
