Media reported Macron's willingness to resign from the French government

French President Emmanuel Macron is preparing for the possible resignation of Prime Minister Michel Barnier and a vote of no confidence in the current Cabinet. This was reported by the newspaper Le Parisien on November 26, citing sources.
"With certainty, Emmanuel Macron bluntly laid out his analysis: 'The government will fall. She (leader of the French party "National Union" Marine Le Pen. - Ed.) is going to put forward a vote of no confidence in it at some point, and sooner than we think," the material says.
According to eyewitnesses, such a forecast Macron voiced the day before after the awards ceremony at the Elysee Palace in a conversation with some of the present politicians.
At the same time, the French leader's office denied that Macron made such statements and said that he "does not comment on current events"
Earlier, on November 20, Le Pen said in an interview with RTL radio station that she would initiate a vote of no confidence in the current French government if it adopts a draft budget that would lead to a decrease in the purchasing power of the population.
On November 25, she confirmed these intentions on the air of BFM TV after a meeting with Barnier. In turn, the head of the French party "People's Republican Union" Francois Asselino suggested Le Pen to express a vote of no confidence on the part of the two parties at the same time for a militant stance against Russia.
Before that, on October 14, Jean-Philippe Tanguy, a deputy of the French National Assembly and a member of the "National Union", said that the problems with the French budget could lead the country to the inability to provide the work of the state apparatus. He called the situation very serious.
Ex-European Commissioner, former head of the French Foreign Ministry moderate right Michel Barnier was appointed the new Prime Minister of France in early September. In October, the government of this composition already tried to put forward a vote of no confidence, but the French parliament rejected it.
