According to the doctor, if the patient is in the risk group for varicose veins, then engaging in certain sports can accelerate the development of the disease. For example, it is not recommended to play volleyball, basketball and participate in any activity where there is jumping and hard landing on the feet of the legs. Swimming, bicycling or cross-country skiing, however, are indicated.
