According to the results of the first three quarters of 2024, the volume of the Russian advertising market amounted to approximately 620 billion rubles, which is 25% higher than the corresponding period of 2023. This follows from the data of the commission of experts of the Association of Communication Agencies of Russia (ACAR), which were reviewed by Izvestia on November 27.

It is specified that in comparison with 2022, the market has grown by 63% in nine months.

"The Russian advertising market has been showing impressive growth for two years in a row. At the same time, all the main segments of the domestic advertising market demonstrated double-digit positive dynamics, and this year for the third quarter in a row," - emphasized in AKAR.

At present, the domestic advertising industry is confidently and steadily developing despite the impact of negative extra-economic factors, the experts added.

At the same time, the regional advertising market for the first nine months of this year increased by 18%. Its volume (excluding the Moscow market) in the means of distribution of advertising in five segments - video, audio, publishing, outdoor advertising and Internet services - amounted to about 87 billion rubles.

Earlier, on September 25, it was reported that the cost of advertising in Russian social networks for the year increased 1.5 times. This was told to "Izvestia" by Polina Kirillova, head of the planning department of BeSeed. According to her, the average price of its placement in social networks depends on many factors: the number of followers, reach, views and even the category. Competition between brands is only intensifying, and companies will have to invest more in attracting the attention of the audience, she noted.
