Another 18 illegal dumps were cleared in Krasnoyarsk

On the territory of Krasnoyarsk 18 more large unauthorized dumps were liquidated. This is reported by IA KrasnoyarskMedia with reference to the city administration.

Dumps were cleared in four districts of the city. The total volume of removed waste amounted to 6 thousand cubic meters, which is equivalent to 600 "KamAZ".

The news agency specifies that one of the most littered places was a vacant lot on the 4th Dalnevostochnaya Street, where bags with construction waste periodically appear. After cleaning of the territory there were installed video surveillance cameras.

The total cost of the work amounted to 13 million rubles. The funds were allocated from the regional budget under the program "Environmental Protection and Reproduction of Natural Resources".
