- Samara governor reported debts of "Wings of Soviets" because of corruption in refereeing

Samara Region Governor Vyacheslav Fedorishchev during a meeting with members of the State Council announced the debt of the soccer club "Krylia Sovetov" in the amount of 36 million rubles for bribes to judges. The record of the address was published on November 26 in the Telegram-channel of the head of the region.
According to Fedorishchev, two months ago, one of the representatives of "Krylia Sovetov" came to him and stated about the debt of 36 million rubles, but could not say for what, "as it is a crime." The club functionary did reveal to Fedorishchev that Krylia Sovetov owed this amount for services rendered, "apparently to criminals involved in corruption in the referee corps of Russian soccer."
The head of the region refused to pay this debt at the expense of funds that are used for the development of sports organizations.
He called to discuss the problem of corruption and bribes in sports and to suppress any attempts of this activity. Fedorishchev also proposed a "Clean Sport" campaign.
Earlier, in February this year, it became known that the president of the All-Russian Society of the Deaf Stanislav Ivanov and several other members of the central apparatus of the organization were detained, the reasons were not specified. At the same time at the same time deaf athletes complained en masse about extortion by coaches and inaction of officials, who were asked to solve the problem.
