343 km of power lines were repaired in the Moscow region

In the Moscow region, 343 km of power lines have been overhauled. The work was performed by Mosoblenergo employees, the press service of the regional Ministry of Energy reported on Tuesday, November 26.

A total of 210 km of overhead power lines and more than 133 km of cable lines were repaired. The municipalities also renewed equipment of 275 transformer and distribution substations and cleared 130 hectares of territories in the area of power lines from wood and shrub vegetation.

Odintsovo, Pushkino and Ramenskoye were the leaders in terms of the amount of work carried out. In these districts 38.5 km, over 30.6 km, 29.5 km of lines were repaired respectively.

Most of the work was done in the summer period. In total, in 2024 "Mosoblenergo" planned to repair 353 km of power lines. As noted by the online edition of "Podmoskovye Segodnya", the work will be completed in December.

Earlier in November it was reported that in the Moscow region put in order fences on seven regional roads. The goal is to improve the safety of road users and reduce the likelihood of accidents.
