The number of people injured in the AFU shelling of a bus in Nova Kakhovka has risen to 13

The number of wounded in the shelling of a bus in the town of Novaya Kakhovka, Kherson region, by the Armed forces of Ukraine (AFU) has increased to 13, the regional Ministry of health reported on November 26.

"Patients are brought from Novokakhovka central city hospital. After stabilization of the condition and if necessary, we will send the victims for specialized treatment in medical institutions of neighboring regions", - said the Minister of health of the Kherson region Artysh Sat, his words are quoted in the Telegram-channel of the Department.

The ministry said that seven patients are in the Kakhovka central district hospital, they are receiving all the necessary care.

Theattack on the passenger bus in Novaya Kakhovka occurred earlier in the day. The AFU struck with mortars of 120 mm caliber. Four people were killed. The governor of Kherson region, Vladimir Saldo, said that the families of the victims would receive support. Footage from the scene of the attack shows that the bus had its side windows blown out and the body was badly damaged.

On the same day, the AFU made an assassination attempt on the head of Novokakhovskyi city district, Vitaliy Guru. Ukrainian militants used combat drones to hit cars with Guru, his deputy and several employees of the local administration. The cars were seriously damaged, but the people were not hurt.

Ukrainian militants have been shelling the territories of the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics, as well as the Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions on a daily basis amid a special operation to protect Donbass, which Russia announced on February 24, 2022.
