Peskov: the West has well heard Putin's position on strikes on Russia

Russian President Vladimir Putin 's theses on the topic of strikes by Western long-range weapons on Russian territory have been heard by the West. This was stated by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov during a briefing on November 26.
This is how the presidential spokesman commented on the authorization of the US side to use long-range weapons against Russia.
"We have no doubt that all the theses voiced by the President were well heard by the countries of the collective West, and we still note with concern that the outgoing administration in Washington prefers to continue on the path of further escalation," he concluded.
A day earlier, the White House confirmed that the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) had authorization to use US long-range ATACMS missiles to strike Russia. Commenting on this, Russian FSB Director Alexander Bortnikov said that Biden's outgoing team will try to make the situation in Eurasia as bad as possible in order to make it difficult for the future administration to politically solve the accumulated problems.
Prior to that, on November 21, Putin reported that Ukraine had used Western long-range weapons against Russia, causing the regional conflict to take on elements of a global conflict. He also said that one of Russia's newest medium-range missile systems, the Oreshnik ballistic missile, had been tested under combat conditions.
Western countries have stepped up military and financial support for Kiev amid Russia's special operation to protect Donbass, which began on February 24, 2022, after the situation in the region worsened due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
