UAZ "Bukhanka" will undergo certification anew

UAZ SRG ("Bukhanka") family vehicles have valid Vehicle Type Approval (VTA) and meet modern requirements for vehicle safety. This was reported to "Izvestia" on November 26 at the Ulyanovsk automobile plant.
In the near future, the SGR will receive a new OTTS, the work on this is now being actively carried out, UAZ told.
"Quite recently, a number of modernizations have been carried out for this model, including the installation of a Euro-5 engine with increased torque, as well as updated stamping equipment for the production of bodies. "Bukhanka" is still in demand and loved by many users, which is the reason for the continuation of its life cycle", - said the representatives of the enterprise.
Earlier in the day, a number of media reported that this year the "Bukhanka" expires this year, and next year public activists propose to certify it as a self-propelled vehicle.
On November 1, the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant started selling Hunter SUVs with a new engine. UAZ "Hunter" received a 2.7 liter ZMZ Pro engine, which until recently was equipped only with Patriot, Pickup and Pro cars. "Atmospheric" corresponds to the Euro-5 economy standards, develops a quarter more power (149.6 hp) and 15% more torque (235 Nm).
October 23, it became known that the Ulyanovsk automobile plant has completely updated the die tooling, which is used to produce body parts for the family of SGR ("Bukhanka"). Specialists of the subsidiary company "UAZ-Tekhinstrument" repaired the tooling, completely replacing 90% of parts.
