The AFU made an assassination attempt on the head of Novokakhovsky district and his deputy

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have made an attempt on the head of Novokakhivka city district, Vitaliy Hura, by attacking cars with him, his deputy and several employees of the local administration with combat drones. This is reported on November 26 by the administration of the city district of Nova Kakhovka.

It is noted that of the people miraculously no one was injured, although the cars are seriously damaged.

"The drone, controlled by the Ukrainian military, targeted the car, in which were the head of the urban district Vitaly Gura and several key employees of the administration. Also the AFU militants hit the car of the deputy head of the administration Novak Maxim," - indicated in the Telegram-channel of the authorities.

Gura, commenting on the incident, pointed out that no attacks will not shake the position of the regional authorities to continue the fight for peace.

"Such attacks only strengthen our desire to continue the fight for security and peace. We will not be intimidated and will continue to fulfill our duties," the administration quoted him as saying.

Earlier, on November 15, the Investigative Committee (IC) of the Russian Federation reported that a court in the Lugansk People's Republic (LPR) sentenced to 14 years and 10 months in a strict regime colony a man accused of attempted murder of the head of the Belovodsky district of the republic. He was also charged in favor of the victims compensation for moral damage in the amount of 400 thousand rubles. According to the case materials, a resident of Belovodsk, recruited by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), collected information about the Armed Forces (AF) of the Russian Federation and officials. In July 2022, he was instructed to kill the head of the district for $30 thousand.
