New zoo to open in Perm in summer 2025

A new zoo will be opened in the Nagorny microdistrict in Perm in the summer of 2025. This was announced by Andrei Alyakrinsky, Deputy Prime Minister of the regional government, at a meeting of the Infrastructure Committee of the Legislative Assembly. He said that the authorities meet with the contractor every week to discuss the construction progress.

Ura.ru recalls that the implementation of the zoo construction project this year has already exceeded the amount of 7 billion rubles. This is 380 million rubles more than the zoo project cost a year ago. The regional Ministry of Construction explained this by the fact that it was necessary to allocate additional funds for the technical building, landscaping and expansion of the playground.

Earlier it was reported that the authorities of Perm decided to bring to a uniform appearance of public toilets in the city. The relevant draft decision was considered at a meeting of the Perm City Duma's Committee on Improvement.
