The first city beach will be opened in Tyumen in the summer of 2025. It will be equipped on the shore of Lake Krugloe. The area of 12 thousand square meters will be filled with sand, toilets, changing cabins and lifeguard posts will be installed.

Ilya Makharashvili, deputy head of the Leninsky District, told Ura.ru news agency that the entrance to the beach will be free. It will be impossible to drive a car to its territory. The nearest parking lot is located on Melnikayte Street, it will take about five minutes to walk from there to the recreation area.

All works are planned to be completed by May 1. Now the authorities are solving the issue of placement of cafes and additional entertainment on the recreation area. The launch of bus routes to the beach is not excluded.

About 7 million rubles will be spent on the arrangement. The Agency notes that the work does not affect the territory of the Park named after Gagarin, located next to the lake.

Earlier it was reported that the Tyumen authorities proposed to renovate the site, on which eight residential buildings and 19 non-residential buildings are located. The area of the territory is 26 hectares. We are talking about the site in the Antipino neighborhood. Part of the land will be allocated for the temple, the rest of the territory will be landscaped.
