The Russian Central Bank plans to issue 1 million investment coins in 2025

Next year, the Central Bank plans to issue no more than 1 million investment coins, we are talking about "George the Victorious" (up to 500 thousand silver and up to 500 thousand gold). This follows from the regulator's statistics, which was studied by Izvestia on November 26. The indicator is lower than this year (1.2 million pieces).
Along with gold bars, investment coins are considered by Russians as a protective asset, explained Alexander Potavin, analyst of Finam Financial Group, to Izvestia. This is the cheapest way to invest in physical precious metals, said in turn, an expert on the stock market "BCS World of Investments" Valery Emelyanov.
Earlier, November 21, portfolio manager of MC "Alfa Capital" Dmitry Skryabin said that in 2025 the cost of gold may reach $3 thousand per troy ounce. As follows from the Comex exchange data, the price of this precious metal is currently at $2624 per troy ounce.
According to Skryabin, the growth in the price of precious metal may be affected by geopolitics and the expectation of further rate cuts by the U.S. Federal Reserve.
