"Syberus will create an IS company based on F.A.C.C.T."


The Cyberus Performance Cybersecurity Development Fund, together with private investors, is creating a new company in the information security (IS) market. It will focus on developing a new line of technologies to prevent and investigate cybercrime based on F.A.C.C.T.'s solutions and services, according to a joint statement from Cyberus and F.A.C.C.T..
As part of the deal, F.A.C.C.T. shareholders, including founder Ilya Sachkov, are transferring some of their assets, including unique engineering technologies, expertise, intellectual property and current contracts, to the new company. It will be headed by the CEO of F.A.C.C.T. Valery Baulin. The F.A.C.C.C.T. team will also move to the new IS company.
"Syberus will not take part in the operational management of the new company. Its shareholders will be Syberus (47%) and private investors, while F.A.C.C.T. shareholders will not be part of the structure of the new company. The amount of the deal is not disclosed, the transfer of assets started on November 29. The investors plan to finalize legal procedures in the first quarter of 2025.
The product line of the new company has been under development since the summer of 2024. The company has already received IT accreditation from the Ministry of Digitalization.
