The AFU shelled Energodar and the area near the ZNPP five times over the day


Over the past 24 hours, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) carried out five shelling and three drone attacks on the Energodar settlement and the territory adjacent to the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant (ZNPP). This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on Tuesday, November 26.
"As a result of the provocation, no one was injured, minor damage was caused to one administrative building," the ministry said.
The ministry noted that two drones were destroyed by air defense (air defense) forces, while one was suppressed by electronic warfare (REB) means.
Currently, the personnel of Zaporizhzhya NPP continues to work in normal mode, maintains the plant facilities and monitors the radioactive situation.
Earlier, on November 23, the head of Zaporizhzhya region Yevgeny Balitsky reported that the AFU had launched missile strikes on the port of the city of Berdyansk.
Before that, on November 15, the company Rosatom notified the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) about the massive shelling by the AFU using barrel artillery in Energodar. It was noted that a young man was killed as a result of the attacks.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces shell the territories of the Donetsk and Luhansk people's republics, as well as Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions on a daily basis against the background of the special operation to protect Donbas, the start of which was announced by Russia on February 24, 2022.
