Bortnikov said the world security system is being restructured

The world is moving towards the creation of a new system of international security with the participation of the countries of the Global South and East, which contradicts the position of the collective West. This was stated by Alexander Bortnikov, Director of the Federal Security Service of Russia, on November 26 at the XX meeting of the Meeting of Heads of Security and Intelligence Agencies (SORB) of the CIS member states in Moscow.
"Today's meeting is taking place in the conditions of a fundamental restructuring of the world order. <...> A multipolar political and economic space is being formed, and a new, "inclusive" system of international security is being created with the participation of countries of the Global South and East," he emphasized, adding that the recent BRICS summit in Kazan confirmed this.
Bortnikov pointed out that the United States and Western allies, seeking to maintain their dominance and continue their colonial policy, are only able to counter these processes by "fomenting general tension."
Earlier, on November 7, Russian President Vladimir Putin said in an address to the participants of the 12th meeting of secretaries of security councils of the CIS member states that the situation in the world is far from stable and that it is important for the Commonwealth countries to use the analytical and forecasting potential of their agencies to identify threats.
