Dongfeng modernized DFSK ix7 crossovers for Russia

In Russia, sales of modernized seven-seat crossovers DFSK ix7 began, the updates touched the interior, multimedia system functions and a set of warm options. This is stated in the message of the automaker, which was received by Izvestia on November 26.

In the interior of the DFSK ix7, the location of the transmission selector and multimedia system controller has changed, while the physical buttons for controlling the all-wheel drive systems have been retained. The mechanical gearbox control selector has been replaced by an electronic one.

The multimedia system, which includes a 12.3-inch touchscreen center screen and a nine-speaker audio system, now supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto protocols. A heated steering wheel has also been added to the warm options package, in addition to heated seats, rear window and mirrors.

The DFSK ix7 measures 4,930 mm in length with a wheelbase of 2,810 mm. Under the hood is a two-liter turbo engine with an output of 220 hp (355 Nm), which works in tandem with a classic hydromechanical "automatic". Sales of crossovers DFSK from the concern Dongfeng started in Russia in early 2024.
