Haval M6 crossover started to be produced in Kaluga

Haval has confirmed the start of production of the M6 crossover at the Kaluga plant "Automobile Technologies" (former PSMA Rus). This is reported on November 26 by "Rossiyskaya Gazeta" with reference to the press service of the brand.

About when Haval M6 of Kaluga assembly will be on sale, representatives of "Havail Motor Rus" did not inform. Previously, such cars were either imported from China or produced at the Haval plant in the Tula region in small volumes. Production of Citroen C5 Aircross is also organized at the Automobile Technologies plant.

It is assumed that the vacated capacity at the main plant of Haval will be used to increase production of the most popular models or to master the production of a new one.

The length of Haval M6 is 4664 mm with a wheelbase of 2680 mm. In the basic configuration with a 1.5 liter engine with 143 hp and manual transmission the price is 2.18 million rubles, the version with "automatic" will cost 2.2 million rubles.

According to the analytical agency "Avtostat", for 10 months of 2024 crossover Haval M6 was sold in Russia in the amount of 31.7 thousand copies. This is almost seven times more than in the same period last year. M6 is the second most popular model of the brand in the Russian car market after Jolion.
